Classification Search is used as an index, or reference for the various classification codes and the Application Domains available in PatSnap.
When you go to the classification search you will come to a screen that looks like this:
From here you are able to change which specific classification code you are searching by as well as being able to see the official site where the different classification codes are displayed. With the latest update date on the top left of the page.
If you use the search bar you will be able to search for classification codes or their descriptions.
On the left-hand side of the screen, you are able to change which category is being viewed and to the right of this you can view each of the different sub-categories for these categories where you can continue to be more specific with regards to your search by clicking on the arrows next to the sub-categories and then the sub-sub-categories after that and so on.
By clicking on the blue hyperlinks for each of the different sub-categories you can search using just that classification code. You can also search for multiple classification codes at the same time by ticking the boxes next to the sub-categories where you can also copy these into a field search:
