If you are struggling to put a complex search together, the Command Search will help you build it out piece by piece. This is particularly useful if you do not have much previous experience of Boolean searching and want to do a particularly specific search.
To access the Command Search, select anywhere in the box labelled "Click to enter Command Search" option from the Advanced Search page.
Once you reach the Command search page, at the bottom of this screen, there is "Common search fields" which gives you the commands for various different pieces of information relating to a patent. From here, you can also access the Search Helper, which is a more comprehensive version of "Command search fields".
To use the Command search, click on the different search fields and start building your query using Boolean operators from there.
