There are various different levels of deletion of custom fields/comments within Workspaces.
The first of these levels is simply to delete a custom field or comment for a specific patent.
For comments, you would do this by clicking on the comment and then once you have reached the "Comments" area, by going to the specific comment and clicking on the "delete" icon.
For custom fields, this will vary depending on the type of custom field that you have chosen.
For drop-down menus, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then deselect the options that you don't want included anymore.
For drop-down trees, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then untick the boxes that have been previously checked.
For text, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then remove the text.
For numeric, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then remove the number.
For dates, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then leave the date above the calendar blank.
The second level for deleting custom fields is by deleting them from the specific folder.
To do this, click on the "Manage fields" option within the folder.
From the "Manage Field" area, you can toggle on and off fields, including custom fields to show in specific folders of your current Workspace.
The third and final level for deleting custom fields is by deleting them from the entire Workspace area.
The way to do this is to go to the Workspace page and select the option of "My custom fields".
Once you reach the "My custom fields" area, you can then delete the custom fields individually or a bunch of them at the same time.
