There are various different levels of deletion of custom fields/comments within Workspaces.
The first of these levels is simply to delete a custom field or comment for a specific patent.
For comments, you would do this by clicking on the comment and then once you have reached the "Comments" area, by going to the specific comment and clicking on the "delete" icon.
For custom fields, this will vary depending on the type of custom field that you have chosen.
For drop-down menus, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then deselect the selected option and click on the "Large tick" found below the options.
For text, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then remove the text and click on the "Large tick".
For numeric, you have to select the custom field for the specific patent and then remove the number and click on the "Large tick".
For dates, there is no way currently to remove this custom field for specific patents (only change its value) but you can completely remove this custom field from this folder or the whole Workspace area by using the procedures I will mention in the paragraphs below.
The second level for deleting custom fields is by deleting them from the specific folder.
To do this, go to the "Custom Field" drop-down menu and select the option of "Show/hide custom fields".
From the "Show/hide custom fields" area click on the delete icon for the currently "Displayed Fields" that you want to remove from this folder and clicking on "Submit".
The third and final level for deleting custom fields is by deleting them from the entire Workspace area. There are two different ways of doing this.
The first way is to click on the arrow next to the custom field in a folder in which it is present and then select the option of "Delete".
The second way is to go to your initial found in the top-right corner of the screens and select the option of "Custom Fields".
Once you reach the "Custom Fields Management", you can then delete the custom fields individually or a bunch of them at the same time.
