In regards to accessing, reviewing and amending the original search criteria for your email alert; you would first want to go to into the Email Alert section of your account. You can do this by hovering over your initial, which is in the top-right corner of the screen; and selecting "Alert" from the drop-down menu.
Once you have done this, the system will take you to your email alerts section. At the top of the email alert section, there should be a field entitled Search Query. In this field should appear the current string you are using, and you can fully edit or amend the search string here. You can find out more about our search string operators, fields, and syntax in our Search Helper.
Below the Search Query section, you will able to see the Type section, which confirms whether you would want to see any new patents with each succeeding email alert. You can also change the title of the email alert, the email addresses to send the alert to, and scheduling options. Once done, please click on the green Submit button near the bottom of the screen and the amendments will be saved.
