We all need a little help from time to time, and sometimes it's faster to let someone else take the reigns. In PatSnap, we have a feature that allows you to give our Support team temporary access to your account in order to help get that question answered, without needing to give away any passwords.
Here's how to do it:
1) Click on your user account icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen:
2) Inside the drop-down menu that appears click on "Account":
2) Along the left-hand side of the screen click on "Grant Temporary Access":
3) Choose an Access Duration, then click on the "Submit" button below:
The Support team will usually recommend a time frame for you to grant access, depending on the nature of the help you'd like, but a safe bet is 3 days to ensure they don't need you to re-grant access.
