New PatSnap Design

 

Based on customer feedback we have been working to make our platform easier to use and navigate. We have taken the opportunity to improve the look, feel and function of our user interface to be more consistent with the range of PatSnap products.

Details of these key changes are as follows are as follows:

Search Results Page

  • The setting option for how you sort your results has moved:

  • The option to change the number of results on your page has moved to the bottom of the page:

  • The publication number and title columns are now frozen, meaning you can scroll to the right without losing sight of which record you’re looking at:

  • And just like the last change, the column headers will now stay at the top of the page when scrolling down:

  • Landscape, Alert and Export History has now been moved to the Account drop down menu.

  • The refinement bar is now collapsible.

  • You can now change your family grouping settings by highlighting your number of results.

  • The copy and save query options have both moved to be next to the different view options.

  • The email alert button now works as a switch where it will be switched to on when an email alert has been set up for the searched query.

  • The view settings change option has moved from a drop-down in the right of the screen to a series of icons in the left of the screen.

Advanced Search Page

  • The patent type options are now given in the first box on the left-hand side of the screen.

  • The database selection options are now given in the second box on the left-hand side of the screen.

  • The classic search can be now be used as template within the advanced search page.
