In this Fundamentals of Bio Premium Webinar, we will cover:
- The different search features
- How to run a basic sequence search
- The tools needed to analyze patents
- Additional Features
1. Where can we learn more about One PatSnap?
Our September Webinar will be covering the One PatSnap updates for the Analytics platform. In the meantime, please explore the platform on your own, and if you need more support, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
2. What is the “in claims” button?
The “In Claims” button allows you to limit the results of patents found to only the patents that reference the sequence of interest in the claims portion of the patent.
3. Can you refine via keywords within the Bio Platform?
No, as of right now, we do not have the functionality to add keywords to a sequence search within the bio platform. You would have to take the results into the analytics platform and add keywords to further refine the search results.
- How can I search for patents that contain a smaller fragment within a large sequence?
Use the fragment search on the home page of Bio Premium. Input your sequence of interest and using the filter on the side select how you would like to define the fragment you are searching for. We support two options for defining the fragment:
When using the length search input the number of nucleotides or amino acids that interest you in the sequence. The system will search for a minimum of that number of characters in any portion of the input sequence.
When doing a multi fragment you would need to specify both the start and end position of the fragment that you are looking at within the larger sequence input. However, in this case you can also search for multiple fragments within the larger sequences.
