A smoother experience for advanced querying

As part of our ongoing improvements to Patsnap’s search experience, we've removed the in-platform wildcard alert message that previously appeared during some complex queries.

This change is designed to create a more seamless and focused experience for users who frequently use wildcard symbols (e.g., *, #) to explore variations in technical terms, parts, or sequence names.

What’s changed?

Previously, users would see the following message when a query contained multiple wildcard terms:

"The query includes wildcards. When the number of keyword variations matched exceeds the system limits, results may be incomplete..."

As of this update:

• This message no longer appears during searches

• The system continues to dynamically manage wildcard performance behind the scenes

• Users can now search with fewer distractions or interruptions
