Dashboards
This video outlines the steps to create and customize a dashboard in the Synapse tool for visualizing data and monitoring trends.
- Locate the Dashboard feature in the left-hand toolbar, near the bottom, underneath the Comparison function.
Click on the Dashboard to access the homepage. - In the top left-hand corner, click the blue button to create a Dashboard from scratch.
Alternatively, scroll down to find Demonstration Reports and Templates for Report Creation. - Choose a template from the list, for example, the Target Report Template.
Click on 'Create' in the small window that appears. - Use the search bar to enter your target of interest (e.g., PD1).
Confirm your selection and click 'Create'. - Wait for the system to pull relevant data and generate charts.
Review the summary tables, heatmaps, and bar charts produced. - Use the export button above each graph/chart to download data.
Click on the 'Edit' option to modify the X and Y axes or change counts. - Click on specific areas within the heat map to filter data (e.g., non-small cell lung cancer trials in France).
A new tab will open with the filtered data. - In the top right corner, select the option to add more charts.
Choose to create from templates or select 'Customize Chart' to create from scratch. - Your dashboard will stay up to date each time you open it, serving as a monitoring report.
