Company Alert Management
Company Alert Management lets company admins review and manage alerts across the company from one central page. Use it to find alerts, update individual alert settings, apply bulk recipient changes, delete alerts, and export alert data for audit or review.
When to use Company Alert Management
Use Company Alert Management when you need to review company-wide alert activity, update alert recipients, adjust alert frequency, or export alert information for internal tracking.
- See every alert across the tenant.
- Search and filter alerts by title, comment, type, recipient, or creator.
- Edit a single alert’s title, type, comment, recipients, or frequency.
- Use bulk actions to add recipients, replace recipients, or delete alerts.
- Export the current alert view to Excel.
Open Company Alert Management
- Go to Alerts from the top navigation.
- Select Open Company Alert Management.
Find alerts fast
Use the search bar and filters to narrow the alert list and quickly locate the alerts you need to review or update.
- The search bar checks the alert title and comment. Enter a keyword or phrase to find matching alerts in the current list.
- Use the Type filter to narrow the list by alert type, such as Patent & Legal or Office-action alerts.
- Use the Recipient filter to find alerts sent to a specific email address or team.
- Use the Creator filter to find alerts created by a specific owner account.
Search applies to the alert title and comment. Use filters when you need to narrow results by alert type, recipient, or creator.
Edit a single alert
You can edit individual alerts directly from the Company Alert Management list.
- Find the alert you want to update.
- Click Edit on the alert row.
- Update the required fields.
- Click Save.
You can change the following fields:
- Title
- Type
- Comment
- Recipients
- Frequency
When an admin saves changes to an alert, the alert owner receives an email summarizing what changed.
Use bulk actions
Bulk actions let you update multiple alerts at the same time.
- Tick the alerts you want to update.
- Select the required bulk action.
- Review the action before applying it.
- Adds new email addresses or teams to the existing recipient list for the selected alerts.
- Replaces the full recipient list for the selected alerts with the new email addresses or teams you enter.
- Removes the selected alerts. Alert owners are notified when their alerts are deleted.
Bulk Add Recipients will not proceed if any selected alert would exceed 200 recipients.
Export alert data for audit
Click Export to download an Excel file of the alert list you are currently viewing. Any filters you have applied are included in the export.
The exported .xlsx file includes columns such as:
- Name
- Condition
- Comment
- Created
- Next Send
- Frequency
- Type
- Creator
- Recipients
Recipients are exported one per row. If an alert has multiple recipients, the export may include multiple rows for that alert.
