Chemical Structure Bulk Search

This video provides an overview of how to use Bulk Search in Patsnap Chemical to quickly search for multiple chemical structures at once. You'll learn how to access the Bulk Search tool, enter InChIKeys or CAS Registry Numbers, verify that your chemical structures have been correctly identified, and launch a search to review the results.

  • From the Patsnap home screen, click the 3x3 grid in the top-right corner.

Select Chemical to open the chemical interface.

You can access Bulk Search from either:

the center of the screen, or

    the left-hand menu.
  • Bulk Search only accepts two identifier types:

    INCI keys

    CAS registry numbers

You can enter up to 500 chemical identifiers at one time.

    Identifiers can be separated by:

    a space

    a comma

    a new line
  • Paste or type your list of chemical identifiers into the Bulk Search box.

Click Find to confirm the system recognizes the inputs.

Example outcomes shown in the video:

INCI keys are recognized and mapped to chemical structures.

CAS registry numbers are also recognized and mapped correctly.
  • Once your input is correct, click Search.

This takes you to the results page for the chemical bulk search.
  • The results page works like other chemical workflows in Patsnap.

    From the results, you can:

view the patents tab if you need patent-related information

click any chemical name to open its chemical structure detail page
