What it does?

The Formulation Agent helps researchers develop, refine, and optimize formulations using AI-driven insights, technical information, and formulation logic. It can generate proposed ingredients, concentrations, ingredient functions, manufacturing processes, testing considerations, and supporting technical evidence.

The agent supports three main workflows: creating a new formulation, reformulating an existing formulation, and developing a new synthesis protocol.

How to use Formulation Agent?

1. Begin the prompt with the specific product, formulation, or synthesis protocol you need. Be specific about the desired formulation rather than using a broad request.

   

2. Review the Extraction Report - The Extraction Report explains the technical basis for the formulation. Use this section to verify what information the agent used and whether its recommendations are technically appropriate. The results table provides an overview of the references and details used. 

   

   

   

3. Review the Formulation Candidate - Look into the recommended formulations and manufacturing process. You can view various suppliers for each formulation. The formulation should be treated as a proposed experimental starting point and reviewed by a qualified researcher before testing.

   

   

   

4. Adjust the formulation with AI Refine - Use AI Refine to request changes without starting over. You can also lock ingredients that must not be changed.

   

5. When you are satisfied with the formulation, select Export to download the completed report.
